Not many in Aba, the commercial heartbeat of Abia State, will start at the name, Ugomdi Ogbonna. But mention ‘TOSKyme’, and everyone will give you all attention. This is because his designer clothing line, TOSKyme, is one of the hottest designer labels in town.
The clothesline, is said to be the destination of the real big boys and babes in town. The label is known for its signature finishing which is why the clientele has grown in leaps and bounds, from the whole south east, to Lagos, Abuja and even beyond.
Located at Umungasi on the Aba Owerri Road, TOSKyme is the label every discerning dude and babe wants to wear to all occasions.
The label was the centre of attraction months back during the Made in Nigeria fair in Abuja organised by the Abia State Government. It was also the label of note as it was introduced at the recently concluded Aba Fashion Show in New York, United States of America.
Ugomdi Ogbonna, the force behind the label, is a graduate of Economics from Babcock University, Illisan Remo, Ogun State. He also holds a master degree in Economics from the Abia State University, Uturu as well as another one in Maritime Management Technology from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, before venturing into clothes making.
