*KENE OKWUOSA, MOSES BABATOPE COME ON BOARD
Managing Director/CEO of FilmeHouse Mr. Kene Mkparu, has been removed.
This information is contained in a statement by the Board of Directors of FilmHouse Cinemas and FilmOne Distribution and Production.
The statement signed by the new interim Managing Director, Mr. Kene Okwuosa, thanked Mr. Mkparu for his diligence in bringing the company thus far.
According to him, “Filmhouse and FilmOne are entering a new phase, thus the Board has decided to appoint new Managing Director(s) to steer the affairs of both companies.
“In the meantime, I, Kene Okwuosa will function as the interim Managing Director of Filmhouse Cinemas and Moses Babatope will function as the interim Managing Director of FilmOne Distribution and Production, pending the appointment of a substantive Managing Director.
“Contrary to the news being peddled in public domain, the Board wishes to assure everybody that the company is in good health, and there is no cause for alarm.
“I am confident that our best years
lie ahead of us, and together, we will continue to build on the good works championed by Mr. Mpkaru,” the statement said.
