In a bid to expand the roof of secondary education in Nigeria, infuse fresh ideas into the creative industry and boost the Nigerian entertainment industry, Bovibes Arts Factory has unveiled its latest project: Nigeria Creative Arts Talent Hunt for Secondary School Students in Nigeria.
National Director of the project, Mr. Peterson Agu in a statement said the Nigeria Creative Arts Talent Hunt for Secondary School Students in Nigeria “is a well planned and structured competition that is driven by a shared vision to create an inclusive, supportive and inspirational platform where each and every student contestant is free to explore, develop and realize their individual artistic aspirations. The project is a presentation of Bovibes Entertainment Limited through its subsidiary Bovibes Arts Factory.”
He said the initiative is aimed at discovering, identifying, training and providing opportunities for gifted students to compete, develop and give full expression to their dreams
“Our mission is to support and enhance projects, programs, and creative activities that will motivate students of our communities and to provide an appropriate, competitive forum for the showcasing of their talents in the performing and visual arts,” Agu said adding, “we will also provide guidance and support for students to combine academics with creative arts for proper foundation training and professional principles.”
The Creative Talent Hunt according to the statement will be activated with a workshop that will feature selected schools in every state capital in Nigeria. The workshop aims to educate school representatives and stimulate student’s interest, creativity and getting them prepared for national competition in Acting/Music/Dance/Visual Art/Presentation (Broadcasting/Comedy).
Mr. Ibe Boco, Chief Executive Officer, Bovibes Entertainment said the talent hunt presents a perfect opportunity for governments, brands, corporate firms, International agencies and well-meaning Nigerians to give back to the society by identifying and supporting Nigerian students as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
