APNM TO CELEBRATE LATE MEMBER, KEVIN NWOSU AT THE 2019 COLLOQUIUM AND CONFERENCE

The Association of Professional Negotiators and Mediators (APNM) is set to hold a colloquium in honour of late law academician and founder “Settlement House and Dispute Resolution Associates Ltd, ” Kevin Ndubuisi Nwosu.

The colloquium, with the theme: ‘Kevin Ndubuisi Nwosu 1966-2015: A Quintessential ADR Practitioner’, is expected to hold on August 17, 2019 in Abuja.

A statement by the organisers through the chair‐person of the board, Mrs Zainab Ibrahim Bio and Dr Dorn Cklaimz Enamhe (National President) explains that the event will also serve as a get-together for members of the association.

Kevin Nwosu, who died on August 17, 2015 after his keynotes address at the National Summit on Security hosted by Nigerian Police at the International Conference Centre Abuja. Aged 49, Kevin Nwosu was former Director of Academics Nigerian Law School.

Besides his role in the development of the curriculum for Negotiation, Mediation, Arbitration and Conciliation at the School, he also anchored training programmes for various professionals in the area of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).

Kevin Nwosu the concept initiator of the ‘SMA Belgore Model of Criminal Justice Reform’ with innovative case-by-case fast-track, non-custodial measure of criminal justice system with heavy emphasis on technology and community intelligence, hailed from Ezekwemba Village, Eziama Obaire, Nkwerre Local Government Area of Imo State.
