The Okpaleke family of Amesi in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State have announced the passing unto glory of their matriarch, Monica Nwadima Okpaleke (Dibundo).
She was aged 83 years.
During her life time, the late Monica was a devout Christian who dedicated her time championing the cause of women, children and the downtrodden in Amesi.
A progrmme of events for her funeral as released by the family shows that the late Mrs. Okpaleke’s rite of passage begins with a wake keep on Wednesday 21st 2019 at her late husband, Festus Onuwurah Okpaleke’s compound at Amesi.
On Thursday, August 22, at 10am, Requiem mass holds in her honour at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Amesi. This will be followed by interment at the Okpaleke compound.
The family, will hold a thanksgiving mass on Sunday, August 24 at St. Joseph’s Catholic, Amesi.
The late Mrs. Okpaleke is survived by children, grandchildren and great grandchildren including Mr. Gabriel and Mr. Oguchi Okpaleke, Chairman/CEO, Oguchi International Ltd.
