Penultimate Saturday, October 5th, 2019, the Oguike family of Oyeroche, Egbelu Agbala, in Owerri North Local Government Area, played host to family, friends and well-wishers, when they laid the remains of their late mother, Ezinne Lolo Fanny Adure Oguike to rest at their homestead.

The event attracted who is who in Imo State and beyond, who came to pay their last respects to the late Christian mother who died at 82 years at the Holy Rosary Hospital, Emekuku after a brief illness.
Former Governor of Imo State, Chief Achike Udenwa and his wife Lady Theresa led other prominent guests who thronged the ceremony at Agbala.

Other prominent guests include, Hon. Dan Ikpeazu, former majority leader, Imo State House of Assembly, Hon. Tony Anyadike, Hon. Emeka Nwaneri, HRH Eze Malachy Onu(Olele 111 of Agbala) Hon. Henry Ekpe, former SSA Media to ex Gov. Ohakim, top Nollywood film-maker and politician, Mr. Emeka Uba, Hon. Henry Njoku, fmr Commissioner for Finance, Imo State, Engr. Charles and Lady May Ugwu, Chief Paul Nnauchi(the Owe of Owerri), Hon. Bonny Mbakwe-Obi, Mr. Chidi Nzerem, MD, Brentex Petroleum Services Nig. Ltd., Chief Camilus Onyeneke, Chief Mrs. Onyeagocha(wife of the Imo State SSG), fmr. NIDB boss, Chief Celestine Ohale, Hon. Nelly Ukachi Obilor, Navy Commodore Ernest Anyadike(rtd), Comrade Reginald Anyadike, fmr NLC boss, Imo State, among many others.

The final rites commenced with a service of songs and wake keep at her husband’s compound, Oyeroche, Egbelu-Agbala on Friday, 4th October, 2019.
On Saturday, October 5th, 2019, there was a requiem mass at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church Agbala, followed by interment.

Guests were later hosted to a sumptuous refreshment at Oguike and Obilor’s compound with Bongo music exponent Eluigwe Kpuo Nwaugorji on the band stand among others.
Late Ezinne Lolo Oguike was born in the year 1937 to late Pa Orjiakor Osuigwe and Mama Nwaibari Osuigwe of Umuawuka, Emii in Owerri North L.G.A of Imo State.

Late Lolo Oguike is survived by her husband, Oha Nze Denis Oguike, her sons, Bethel, Walter, Noble, Charles and Uzochukwu as well as her daughters, Patricia, Stella, Chinyere and Ibari, grandchildren and great grandson.
