UMUDIOKA AGOG AS OIL MINISTER, CHIEF BEN AMUTA BECOMES ONOWU THIS SUNDAY

On Sunday December 29th, 2019, all roads will lead to Uruowelle Village, Umudioka in Dunukofia Local Government Area of Anambra State.

The event is the opening of Chief Benedict Amuta’s palace located inside the expansive Ark of God Villa.

The commissioning will be performed by the Archbishop of Onitsha metropolitan, His Excellency, Most Rev. Dr. Valerian Maduka Okeke.

More importantly, Chief Amuta, will on the day, be coronated as the Onowu(Traditional Prime Minister) of Umudioka in a colourful ceremony which is expected to attract the who’s who in politics, business and society from all over Nigeria, to the area.

Chief Benedict Amuta popularly known as Oil Minister (a name he got from his exploit during his early business days in importation and distribution of  Transmission and Lubrication oil), is the first son of Chief Amuta (Otigbuanyinya of Umudioka) in Dunukofia LGA of Anambra State.

He is a graduate of Business Administration from the prestigious University of Lagos.

Chief Ben Amuta is the founder and Chairman of Benneks Group of Companies. His company is into manufacturing and importation of Cosmetics, Pharmaceuticals, Wines and Beverages.

He is a member of G21 Club, founding Member, former Vice President and Chairman Board of Trustees of Diamond Fitness Club, former President of Alpha Circle Club of Nigeria and past President and Patron of Umudioka Development Union.

Chief Ben Amuta is a community leader, a philanthropist, a member of Full Gospel Business Men Fellowship and a Catholic per excellence.

He holds the Chieftaincy titles of Ugochukwutubelu of Umudioka, Okpuruisi Dunukofia and Osunmanu of Diamond Fitness Club.

In July 2019, following the demise of the immediate past Onowu of Umudioka, Chief Ben Amuta was unanimously nominated as the 2nd Onowu(Traditional Prime Minister) of Umudioka.

Chief Ben Amuta is married with 4 children. He is also the Visitor of HeyDays International School Festac Town, Lagos.
