The Lagos State House of Assembly has passed into law the N1.68trn 2020 budget presented by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu. The total budget stood at N1,168,561,893,990, with a breakdown of N457,528,918,805 as recurrent expenditure and N711,032,979,185 as capital expenditure. Works and Infrastructure got the highest allocation of N128bn, education, N47bn, environment, N38bn and health, N33bn.
