Popular fashion designer and Chief Executive Officer of Mudi Africa, Mudiaga Clement Enajemo has distributed food materials and money to the people of Ughelli in Delta State to cushion the effect of the lockdown caused by Coronavirus pandemic.
Mudi said the gesture is a way of supporting the people at this trying moments.
He added that the gesture is to show gratitude to the old in the society for their hardwork and labour towards raising up the children especially at a time like this when they need all the necessary support considering their age.
Mudiaga who was represented by officials of Mudi Africa shared the sum of N5,000 each to all the beneficiaries.
According to the representatives; “Beneficiaries of the palliative are residents of the local government area where Mudiaga was raised as a child.”
“The laudable gesture by Mudiaga on Sunday, April 19, 2020 is a way of giving back to the society. Beneficiaries of the gesture are residents of Mission Road, Market Road, Post Office Road and the adjoining axis in Ughelli Township where Mudiaga Enajemo played around during his teenage and youthful age.”
“The beneficiaries are mostly aged men and women and are highly grateful to Mudiaga Enajemo. They also prayed to God to guide, protect and prosper the works of his hands.”
