The Executive Director cum CEO of the National Film and Video Censors Board, Alhaji Adedayo Thomas, has sent solidarity message to the Muslims as they embark on the holy month of Ramadan.
Alhaji Adedayo asked Muslims to use the opportunity to raise supplications to Allah for his quick intervention on the rampaging COVID-19 pandemic.
The message reads, “I felicitate with our Muslim brothers and sisters as we excitedly begin another Holy Month of Ramadan, which signifies God’s blessings and forgiveness, and exemplifies piety.
“Though it may prove challenging due to various restrictions as a result of the global Covid-19 pandemic, it also offers an opportunity for us to raise our supplications to Almighty Allah for HIS quick intervention.
“I urge us to adhere to various instructions as mandated by various governments and statutory authorities in this period. Our obedience will form part of our sacrifice for speedy answers to our prayers and yearnings.
“May Almighty Allah make it a month of blessing and peace, and accept it as an act of Ibadah”, he wrote.
