Nigeria on Monday recorded 216 new COVID-19 cases in 14 states and the federal capital territory (FCT).
This was announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Monday night.
The figure brings to a total of 6,175 COVID-19 cases recorded in 34 states and the FCT.
As usual, Lagos led in the 216 new cases of #COVID19 with 74 while 33 was recorded in Katsina. Others are: 19-Oyo, 17-Kano, 13-Edo, 10-Zamfara, 8-Ogun, 8-Gombe, 8-Borno, 7-Bauchi, 7-Kwara, 4-FCT, 3-Kaduna, 3-Enugu, 2-Rivers.
As at last night, Nigeria has confirmed 6175 cases of #COVID19. Of this number, 1644 have been discharged while the total number of deaths is now 191.
