Nigeria yesterday, recorded 389 new COVID-19 cases to bring the tally to 8,733.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, said so far, 2,501 persons have been discharged while 254 have died in 35 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
The 389 new cases were yesterday reported in 22 states with Kogi State joining the fray with two cases.
Others include Lagos State which led with 256, Katsina 23, Edo 22, Rivers 14, Kano 13, Adamawa 11, Akwa Ibom 11, Kaduna seven, Kwara six, Nasarawa six, Gombe, Plateau, Abia, Delta, Benue, Niger and Oyo two each, while Imo, Borno, Ogun and Anambra have one each.
