It was wild jubilation yesterday in several parts of Abia State as a video recording of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu playing Table Tennis went viral on the internet.
The video, spread the good news that the Governor had recovered from the corona virus disease and may be back at his desk soon.
The video which showed the Governor playing with a care giver under the watchful eyes if two others, was shared by Ikpeazu’s top aides on their social media handles.
One of those who shared it, Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr, stated that the video was made on Thursday. Indeed, it came with the caption, “Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, engages Dr Godfrey Achilihu, MD, in a table tennis game today Thursday 2nd July, 2020.”
It would be recalled that the Governor was flown out of Abia for Abuja on June 6th, 2020, days after he tested positive to the Covid-19 disease and banded over to his Deputy.
