COVID-19: 463 NEW CASES RAISE NIGERIA’S TOLL TO 33,616

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, yesterday announced that Nigeria’s total COVID cases have jumped to 33,616.

The NCDC announced the figure while confirming 463 new cases in the country.

It stated that 13,792 patients have been discharged across the country while 754 have died.

The NCDC on Tuesday night, noted that Taraba remains the only state that has not recorded any coronavirus-related death.

The agency, informed that out of the over 185,000 samples tested in the country, 33,616 persons have been confirmed to have contracted the virus, out of which 19,070 are active
