There were fresh intrigues this morning as the Port Harcourt home of Dr. Joi Nunieh, former Acting Managing Director of the Interim Management Committee of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) was barricaded by armed security men who stormed her residence early morning.
Nuinieh reportedly told an Arise TV programme that the security operatives had laid siege on her residence as early as 4:am Thursday.
Before the siege, Nunieh was preparing to appear before the Senate Committee probing the NDDC on Thursday.
She had made a flurry of revelations on the ongoing probe of the NDDC.
Also, Nunieh recently accused the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Godswill Akpabio, of sexual harassment.
However, Akpabio has dismissed allegations from her.
