
Nigeria now has a total of 37,801 confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), who announced this update yesterday on it’s Twitter handle, said the country recorded fresh 576 cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday.
NCDC also announced that 805 deaths have been recorded so far while 15,677 persons recovered and were discharged.
Of the new 576 cases, Lagos recorded 88 new cases while
Kwara placed 2nd with 87 new cases.
Others were: Kaduna-20, Ebonyi-20, Federal Capital Territory (FCT)-82, Plateau-62, Ondo-39, Enugu-28, Oyo-26, Taraba-24, Edo-17, Cross River-16, Kano-14, Rivers-11 and Ogun-10.
Delta had 9 cases, Nasarawa-8, Osun-8, Katsina-3, Imo-2, Kebbi-1, Borno-1.
