Chairman, Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON), Chief Tony Okoroji, has congratulated Mr. Guy Murray-Bruce, President, Silverbird Group on his election on 22nd July 2020 as Chairman of the Board of Independent Broadcasters Association of Nigeria (IBAN), the umbrella body of all privately owned and independent broadcast operators in Nigeria.
In his congratulatory letter, Chief Okoroji wrote, “On behalf of the Board, Management, staff and the thousands of members of Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON) spread across the nation, I write to felicitate with you on your recent election as Chairman of the Board of Independent Broadcasters Association of Nigeria (IBAN). Please extend our goodwill to other members of your newly elected Board, a number of whom I have a good personal relationship with.
“With the election of the new Board, we look forward to an innovative and reinvigorated IBAN under your leadership. It is also our hope that under your leadership, COSON, the nation’s largest copyright organization, will once again meaningfully engage with the broadcast industry to ensure that our facets of the creative industry maintain a peaceful, respectful and productive relationship for the good of the Nigerian nation”
Mr. Murray Bruce takes over from Mr. Osa Suuny Adun of DBN.
