.TRUE STORY OF THE BIG HUMILIATION AT IGUEBEN

Although several accounts have been given of how former APC Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole and the Gubernatorial campaign train of Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu were treated with disdain at Igueben in Esanland, insiders have come out with a true picture of the humiliation on Monday.
Inside sources told thebladengr.com that the Onojie of Igueben, HRH Ehizojie Eluojierior II had welcomed everyone who came to his palace for the rally. After his address, the APC candidate, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu told the royal audience about his mission and vision for Edo State.
Trouble however started for the visitors after Oshiomhole, a former Governor of the state, spoke about their mission.
The Onojie of Ewatto who replied the visitors on behalf of the Esan Monarchs, had praised Oshiomhole for his efforts at developing the state while he was the governor. The Royal father however lashed out at Oshiomhole, saying he messed up a rather good administration by deposing the Onojie of Uromi towards the end of his administration.
Thebladengr.com gathered that the APC candidate, Ize-Iyamu quickly got up and began to apologize for the mistake Oshiomhole made by suspending and dethroning the Onojie of Uromi, but as he was talking Oshiomhole took the microphone from Ize-Iyamu and arrogantly said he had no regret for the action he took at the time.
An angry Onojie of Uromi, who was among the traditional rulers at the Palace of the Igueben monarch had stood up and rained curses on Oshiomhole. The Ojuromi had gone ahead to order Oshiomhole to “drop the mic and get out of here.” He further thundered, “I was told that you speak before you reason, you are a bastard, don`t let me see you near my palace when you come to Uromi”.
Those who witnessed the whole drama said at this point, Oshiomhole, Ize-Iyamu and all the party leaders who went with them went on their knees begging for forgiveness.
However, the whole Esan Onojies at this point, supported the Onojie of Uromi and maintained that Oshiomhole must leave Esan land.
Outside the palace gates, supporters of Governor Obaseki and the PDP had thronged the area, taunting and mocking the Ize-Iyamu train.
