At last, peace has returned to the Association Association of Movie Producers, AMP, as the body on Thursday, endorsed Ms Peace Anyiam Osigwe, MFR, as the authentic President of the Association.
The BoT led by Chief Zeb Ejiro, said the Association had upheld the election of the body held in Asaba on August 29, 2020 which returned Ms Anyiam Osigwe alongside others.
The decision, ended two weeks of crisis which had engulfed the body following the disputed elections.
At the National Secretariat of the body on Thursday, Ejiro said the body had resolved to be united and move forward. Hear him: “today, is a day of forgiveness. We have all forgiven ourselves for our errors. We match on in dignity and uniformity of purpose”.
Earlier on, the warring factions had on Wednesday night agreed to a harmonised Congress which was the first sign that a peaceful resolution was near.
