Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele has one more of his prophecies fulfilled this year as Godwin Obaseki heads to victory at the September 19th governorship election in the state.
Results announced so far in the Edo State Governorship election, show that incumbent governor Godwin Obaseki of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is leading and heading for a comfortable win over his main rival, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Out of the three zones in the state, Obaseki won all the local government areas in Edo South and Edo Central in the results so far declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and is running neck-to-neck with Ize-Iyamu in Edo North, the stronghold of Adams Oshiomhole, the former National Chairman of APC.
Recall that even at a time when political pundits were giving victory to Ize Iyamu, Primate Ayodele had prophesied that the PDP and its candidate, Godwin Obaseki will emerge winner if the election is void of manipulation by the APC.
