UMEH, AZUBOGU, OBIDIGWE, OTHERS TO BE HONOURED AT 2020 AMEA AWARDS

Ahead of the Anambra Media Excellence Awards AMEA 2020, the Association of Digital Media Core Advocates ADMCA is glad to announce the recipients of the prestigious Special Recognition Awards.

The outstanding Senator who represented Anambra Central Senatorial District at the Red Chambers, Sir Victor Umeh; the member representing Nnewi North, Nnewi South and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Engr. Chris Emeka Azubogu; the member representing Anambra East and West Federal Constituency Hon Chinedu Obidigwe; the traditional ruler of Umunya HRH Igwe Chris Onyekwuluje Eze Nya; the Honourable Commissioner for Health Anambra State Government Dr. Vin. O. Okpala; the Honourable Commissioner for Women Affairs Lady Ndidi Mezue; the Honourable Commissioner for Trade and Commerce Sir Uche Okafor Wiper.

A statement signed by Dr. Harris Chuma-Odili, President and Mrs. Augustina Njideka Chukwujam, Secretary, Association of Digital Media Core Advocates, said they are being honoured and celebrated for their astute leadership qualities, excellent performance in public office, and friendly disposition to Anambra online media community.

Other Awardees to be honoured with media friendly support awards include; Hon Nzewi Nnanna, Comr Chris Mcool Nwosu,Hon Innocent Nduanya, Hon Cater Dike, Hon Nnoso Smart Okafor, and Hon John Nwokoye.

AMEA awards is instituted to recognise and celebrate the Anambra media industry practitioners with focus on their hardwork, tenacity and steadfastness over the years, as well as ensuring that the industry is at the fore front and at par with same industries around the world.

The 2020 edition of AMEA Awards, slated for 29 November at Marble Arch Hotel Awka, promises to be memorable.
