This year’s Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA), will hold on December 20, 2020.
This revelation was made by the Organisers of the awards in a statement signed by the founder, Ms. Peace Anyiam-Osigwe.
The statement said nominations for the awards in all the categories will be announced on the 20th of November, 2020, while the Awards ceremony will hold exactly one month from the date on 20 December, 2020.
Meanwhile, the organisers have picked former Lagos State Commissioner Tourism, Arts and Culture, Hon. Steve Ayorinde as President of the Jury for the event.
Ayorinde who has been Chairman of the Governing Council for AMAA for over ten years, is heading the AMAA Jury for the second time in the Award’s 16 years history.
