For first time since it started participating in the Miss Earth beauty pageant, Nigeria’s representative, has won three(3) Gold medals at the competition currently holding in the Philippines.
National Director of Serendipity Media Limited, organisers of Miss Earth Nigeria, Ms Ibinabo Fiberesima, in a statement on Thursday, said Miss Ifeanyieze with her exploits, is a top favourite for the Miss Earth Pagent crown as the grand finale holds on Sunday, November 29, 2020.
The Enugu State-born Nigerian representative, grabbed Gold medals in the ‘Sports Wear’, ‘National Costume’, and ‘Long Gown’ competitions in the pre-pageant competition of the contest which is currently holding on a virtual platform.
Gwenivere Chioma Ifeanyieze has a total haul of five(5) medals as she also clinched one (1) Silver medal in the ‘Talent’ competition and one (1) Bronze medal in the ‘Beach Wear’ competition.
The Miss Earth Nigeria 2020 several weeks ago, dedicated her Competition primarily to young gymnasts Uche Eke and 8-year-old Stephanie Ogechukwu Onusiriuka who are expected to fly the Nigerian flag at the Olympics despite daunting odds. She urged them to never give up on their dreams and personally intended to champion the issue of equipment and facilities development as well as securing financial support for youth athletes.
