Tokunbo Abiru, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the December 5, 2020 Lagos East bye-election, has been declared the Senator-elect of the Senatorial district.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), declared Abiru winner after he polled a total number of 89, 204 votes against his opponent, Mr. Babatunde Gbadamosi, of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who scored 11, 257 votes.
