Nnewi, the South Eastern home of billionaires was literarily hit by a thunderbolt yesterday, as one of it’s big boys, Hyacinth Osuchukwu slumped and died in inside his car in Lekki, Lagos, just three weeks to the burial of his mother.

Osuchukwu, who owns the sprawling Diamond Mall at Amuwo Odofin area of Lagos State, is into oil and gas and also plays big in real estate.
As at noon on Thursday, December 17, 2020, many of his associates and friends, say the late businessman, was on the phone with them, intimating them on the final arrangements toward his mother’s burial which is scheduled for Thursday, January 7, 2021.
His townsmen, friends and associates say he had been vigorously planning a carnival-like burial for his late mother, Madam Roseline Ekemma Osuchukwu(nee Mmuonelo) who died a few months back at the age of 85 years, before his sudden death.
Osuchukwu, according to them, was a good and humble man who related with all strata of human beings despite his massive wealth.
