Former Military Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Air Commodore Idongesit Nkanga (retd), has died of Covid-19 complications. A statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Dr. Emmanuel Ekuwem said Nkanga died on Thursday, December 24. Until his death on Christmas eve, Nkanga was Chairman of the Ibom Air Airlines as well as President, Pan Niger Delta Elders Forum(PANDEF).
