Frontline health worker, Dr. Cyprian Ngong is the first Nigerian to receive AstraZeneca Covid-19 Vaccine In Nigeria.
Dr. Ngong, a doctor at the National Hospital, Abuja, was administered the first dose of Covid-19 vaccines which arrived Nigeria on Tuesday morning.
The vaccine was administered by Dr. Faisal Shuaib, chief executive officer of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA).
Dr. Ngong was among over 100 frontline workers who will received the jab today.
President Muhammadu Buhari and his vice, Yemi Osinbajo are expected to be vaccinated tomorrow on live television.
