Celebrated veteran journalist, author, film and social critic, Femi Akintunde Johnson, FAJ, on Friday, released a new book on the Nigerian movie industry-Nollywood.

The book titled ‘Reflections on Nigerian Movie Industry: Salute to Pioneering Creativity and Perseverance’, chronicles 40 individuals “whose contributions to the growth, sustenance and projection of Nigerian dramatic space, have led us to where we are today – a globally recognized industry proudly self-styled Nollywood, to the infernal chagrin of puritans”.
According to FAJ, the book “is a craving desire to douse the lamentations of younger generations of Nigerians on the near-total absence of reputable data, catalogues, original stories of Nigerian entertainment figures, past and present”.
The book, is already available at @luludotcom at this link:
It will shortly be available on global distribution platforms: Apple Books, Amazon Kindle, Barnes’ Nooks, etc.
