BREAKING! CROSS RIVER AIRLINE’S FIRST AIRCRAFT ARRIVES LAGOS

The first aircraft of the much talked about Calabar Airline, CallyAir, has arrived in Lagos.

The aircraft, a Boeing 737 – 36Q (WL) with registration number: 5N – BYQ and serial number: 30334/3120 arrived the Muritala Mohammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos at about 11pm on Tuesday.

The aircraft was initially billed to leave Ostrava Mosnov, Czechia to Lagos on Good Friday, on its first test flight but encountered a delay. It had three pilots on board, Capt Stan and Capt Rundolph of Vanguard Aviation Services and Capt Andrea of Aero Contractors.

CallyAir is a full-service carrier with its main hub at the Margaret Ekpo International Airport in the Cross River State capital, Calabar.

 It is a joint venture between the Cross River State Government and DANA Group, under a public-private agreement.

When launched, Cally Air will cover the Obudu, Lagos and Abuja routes in the first instance.
