Unidentified gunmen on Monday, attacked Zone 13 police command in Ukpo, Dunukofia Local Government Area of Anambra State just as another group burnt down the Uzuakoli Police Station in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State.
A video reportedly made by a police officer on duty at the Zone 13 headquarters showed the administrative building of the headquarters going up in flames as a result of the attack.
The attacks are coming about two weeks after gunmen attacked the Correctional Centre and Police headquarters, all in Owerri, Imo State.
There was also a similar incident which took place in World Bank Housing Estate police station in Aba, Abia State where property worth millions of Naira were destroyed.
