Frontline Peoples Democratic Party Governorship aspirant for the November 6th, Anambra governorship polls, Hon Dr Tony Nwoye has celebrated the Nigerian Children on the occasion of the 2021 Children’s day celebration.
In a statement released on Thursday, 27th May 2021 in commemoration of the children’s day celebration, Dr Tony Nwoye described children as a gift of God to mankind and hope for the future.
He reiterated the need for government at all levels to always accommodate the needs of children in their plans and policy statement. He said the needs of the children could be met and achieved through making an elaborate plan that will be all-encompassing in making sure that they are kept to date with the sustainable development growth plan of the 21st century.
He further called on parents and teachers to always monitor the children within their custody as children always adapt easily to the things happening in their environment.
He said that the importance of every child in a family can never be over-emphasised hence the need for them to be celebrated. He further went on to say that if elected as the next Governor, that adequate care will be provided to every Anambra child as his government will have a liaison officer in the government house that will be keeping tabs on the needs of the children.
Dr Nwoye on behalf of his family and campaign organisation, wished every Nigerian child particularly Ndi Anambra, a wonderful celebration.
