
UEFA Champions League winners, Chelsea Football Club, is richer by $96.18 million.
Chelsea pocketed $23.2 million for spanking EPL rivals, Manchester City FC, 1-0 last night in Porto, to win the cup.
Before the finals last night, Chelsea had already collected $73 million from qualification stage to the semi final stage.
The team received $18.3 million fir winning the trophy and an additional $4.88 million for automatically qualifying for the UEFA Super Cup, a one-off match against the UEFA Europa League winners, Villarreal CF.
Runner-up: Manchester City collected $75.2 million and won$18.3 million last night’s final making their total take home from the UCL, $93.5 million.

In the 2021/2022 season, each Champions League club will receive $19.1 million just for making the group stage (up from the guaranteed $18.6 million for making the group stage in 2020-2021).
The 32 clubs that make up the group stage will share a total of $2.44 billion, up from $2.38 billion shared in the just concluded season.
