IBB LADIES HOST WOMEN’S GOLF DAY IN ABUJA

Come Tuesday June 1, the Ladies Section of IBB International Golf and Country Club will host existing women and girl golfers as well as those interested in the sport in a one-day event to celebrate the 2021 Women’s Golf Day.

Women’s Golf Day is a global event where women and girls can experience golf for the first time or where current players can play and engage with women interested in golf. It is being hosted at golf courses and retail locations all around the world on the same day.

It is a network of women around the world supporting golf and one another through events and partnerships that empower new and experienced golfers by teaching skills that last a lifetime.

The focus for Women’s Golf Day is to provide women with products and resources that will help them grow and feel great, regardless of their skill level; introduce new female participants to golf and celebrate existing players by joining them together irrespective of race, religion, language, ethnicity, or location.

Tuesday’s event at the IBB Golf and Country Club is open to every woman golfer, including new players, with an entry fee of N1000.

Dress code for the Women’s Golf Day is a red top, white pants/shorts and a white face cap. Men are also invited and expected to wear same colours.

The four-hour experience happening globally opens with the arrival of the women at 6:50am, followed by a photo session from 7am to 7:30; the game tees-off properly with golf action from 7:30 to 9:30am, closes with breakfast and discussion from 9:30 to 10:30am.
