Visual art literarily went ‘legal’ last week, when art lover and Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, Lagos, Barr. Okey Ilofulunwa visited Artpedia CEO, musician and music promoter, Onome Onohi, a.k.a Nomzky(Solo Dolo) at the gallery located in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.
Nomzky, a product of Igbenedion University, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology(KNUST) Kumasi Ghana and Lead City University, Ibadan, Oyo State, reportedly held talks on an upcoming music and art event with the NBA big boy who also doubles as Secretary of Aka Ikenga, the Igbo think tank group. Barr. Okey Ilofulunwa, is also the Managing Partner Chancery law firm Ikoyi, Lagos.
Artpedia Gallery opened shop with a Launch/Exhibition on the 20th of February, 2021, with Kennii Ekundayo as the Guest Curator.
The exhibition themed, “The Persistence of Time”, had six artists whose works were exhibited. They included, Ikechukwu Ezeigwe, Sejiro Avoseh, Ada Godspower, Habeeb Andu, Elizabeth Ekpetorson and Fredrick Idele.
