Hon. Dr. Tony Okechukwu Nwoye has joined the Anglican Youth fellowship (Nigeria) in celebrating the 2021 youth Sunday.
In a statement released on Sunday, 6th May 2021 by his SA Media, Dr Nwoye paid glowing tributes to the youths for the great role they play in nation-building. He emphasised the youth as being the nucleus and the main bearing of the society as no nation succeeds without her youths.
Dr. Nwoye reminded the Anglican youth fellowship of their motto “towards the perfect man” (Ephesians 4:13) and enjoins them to always live a Christ-like life and let the ways and teachings of Christ reflect in their daily livings.
He commended the church for the wonderful theme of this years youth Sunday, youths as instruments of expanding our ministerial coast and made a passionate appeal to them not to relent in their service to God and humanity.
Dr. Tony Nwoye, a front line governorship aspirant under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party called on the youths to go before God in prayers as regards the insecurity challenges facing the nation and urged them to be steadfast and patriotic not to allow themselves be used as an agent of destabilization in the hands of the mischievous political elements whose only mission is to see the nation fail and collapse. He admonished them to be good citizens as God will one day put smiles on our faces again.
In conclusion, Dr. Tony Nwoye, a major shareholder in the youth constituency described the youths as the future of the nation and wished them joyous youth Sunday celebrations.
