The screening committee of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, on Monday, released the list of successful aspirants for the July 23rd, 2021 governorship primaries of the party.
Those who passed the screening exercise held at the National Secretariat Abuja, include former Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN Governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo. Others are: Hon. Chief Dr Okwudili Ezenwankwo MHR, Chief Damian Chibuzor Okolo and Chief ThankGod Ibeh.
The Screening Committee however disqualified six aspirants, namely Hon. Chukwuma Umeoji, Nze Sullivan Akachukwu Nwankpo, Hon. Cater Dike Umeoduagu, Nonso Okafor and Ifeanyi Odera Ozoka.
While Nze Nwankpo according to the Committee, was disqualified for being less than 18 months old in the party. The Committee said he also did not seek waiver from the National Secretariat, House of Reps member Hon. Umeoji, was disqualified for what the Committee termed, defiance and insubordination to party authority.
