ANAMBRA GOVERNORSHIP 2021: SEN. ANDY UBA WINS APC PRIMARY ELECTION

Senator Andy Emmanuel Uba this morning, emerged the flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the November 6, 2021 Anambra State gubernatorial election, when he defeated 13 other aspirants at the primary election.

Chairman of the APC primary election panel and governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, announced the outcome of the poll at Golden Tulip Hotel, Agulu Lake, early on Sunday.

Uba emerged winner with 230,201 votes out of the total 348, 490 votes castvat the election, while his closest rival, Johnbosco Onunkwo polled a total of 28,746 votes.

The APC Election Committee, had adopted the open ballot mode also known as Option A4 to conduct the primary election.
