Youth under the aegis of Satellite Town Youths are set to honour music icon, Olanrewaju Abdul Ganiu Fasasi popularly known as Sound Sultan with a CandleLight procession.
The youth who referred to Sound Sultan as “a great philanthropist, icon and music legend,” said the late singer never forgot his “area” and was very supportive of young men and women from Satellite Town and environs.
Billed to hold on Friday July 16, 2021, the youth plan to walk around the Satellite Town starting from LearningField School, Satellite Town by 5pm and ending at his family house.
During the procession, the youth say they will wear T-shirts emblazoned with the pictures of the late star.
Sound Sultan died early Sunday, July 11, 2021 after battling a rare cancer. He was buried same day in the United States according to Islamic rites.
