President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN, Mr. Emeka Ejezie Rollas, has mourned the death of former President and Board of Trustee chairman of the AGN, Prince Ifeanyi Dike.
A statement released by Kemi Adekomi, Senior Special Adviser to AGN President, on Media and Publicity said the death of Prince Ifeanyi Dike came to the president as a rude shock.
She quotes Rollas as saying, “The news of the death of our dear Actor’s Guild of Nigeria BOT Chairman, Prince Ifeanyi Dike comes as a rude shock and my heart is heavy”
The statement said Dike’s death came while the entire body of actors in Nigeria were barely recovering from the death of veteran actress Racheal Oniga. He recounts that “shortly after, came the news of the passing on of Doris Chima, a Vice Chairman emeritus, Lagos State chapter of AGN, then came that of veteran star Victor Olaotan, and few hours later, our very own Chairman, AGN Board of Trustees joins the ones who have been called home”.
While praying for the repose of the souls of all who have departed Rollas encourages the whole body of actors in Nigeria to take heart and have faith in God at these trying times.
Arondizuogu, Imo State-born BOT Chairman of Actors Guild of Nigeria, Prince Ifeanyi Dike died on Friday, April 27, 2021, after a protracted illness.
