CHRISTINE TELFER EMERGES 2021 MISS EARTH NIGERIA

University of Calabar graduate, Christine Telfer Edet Ugah, has emerged as the new Miss Earth Nigeria 2021.

She was crowned on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at the Dome, Calabar Municipal Gardens, Calabar, Cross River State, after she beat the pack of other beauties to emerge queen, at a superb ceremony organised by Ibinabo Fiberesima’s Serendipity Media Limited.

Christine who succeeds Miss Earth Nigeria 2020 Gwenivere Chioma Ifeanyieze and has her bachelor’s degree in Human Physiology, hails from Cross River State.

Interestingly, Tefler finished fifth at the 2019 edition of Miss Earth Nigeria, earning the Miss Earth Nigeria Eco Tourism 2019 title.

59 tall and Miss Cross River Most Beautiful Girl 2017, Telfer’s environmental advocacy is promotion and preservation of biodiversity.

Meanwhile, Bayelsa State delegate, Suoyo Enenimiete Mercy, emerged Miss Earth Nigeria-Air 2021, while Miss Earth Nigeria-Water 2021 went to Mbanusi Chidiogo, the Anambra State delegate.

Rivers State delegate, Akugbo Amaka Precious emerged Miss Earth Nigeria-Fire 2021, while Miss Earth Nigeria-Eco Tourism 2021 is Delta State delegate, Zino Precious.

The 23-year-old Christine will represent Nigeria at the Miss Earth World pageant on December 12, 2021.
