Former President of the Senate, Senator Iyorchia Ayu, has emerged as the new National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Ayu was returned as a consensus candidate for the Chairmanship position. The national convention which took over place at the Eagle Square in Abuja.
