Nigeria’s Kamaru Usman has defeated Colby Covington at their rematch on UFC 268 to retain the welterweight championship with a unanimous decision win inside New York City’s Madison Square Garden. The biggest moment of the fight came in the second round when Usman dropped Covington twice with right hands near the end of the round. After five rounds, the judges gave Usman scores of 48-47, 48-47 and 49-46. Usman had won their first fight with a fifth-round knockout.
