The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Friday, November 12, 2021 presented certificates of return to the winner of the Nov. 6 Governorship election in Anambra State, Prof. Charles Soludo and the Deputy Governor-elect, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim, at INEC state Headquarters, Awka.
The Resident Electoral Commissioner in Anambra State, Nkwachukwu Orji, presented the certificates to Soludo and Ibezim.
Speaking during the presentation, Orji appealed to Soludo to uphold good governance and adhere strictly to democratic principles.
Dignitaries who witnessed the colorful event included, the national chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Ozonkpu Dr Victor Oye, Sen Sir Victor Umeh, OFR, former APGA National Chairman, Rt Hon Chinedu Obidigwe, member representing, Anambra East and West Constituency in the national assembly, Prof Solo Chukwulobelu, Director General of APGA Campaign Organisation, Dr Mrs Obegolu, APGA BoT member, among others.
