COURT REMOVED NGIGE FOR OBI, COURT ALSO REMOVED ME FOR PETER OBI, I DIDN’T DIE”—ANDY UBA ON WHY HE’S CHALLENGING SOLUDO’S VICTORY

The All Progressives Congress candidate in the just concluded November 6 Anambra State governorship election, Senator Andy Uba, has said that preliminary check showed that he has grounds to challenge INEC declaration at the tribunal in line with the electoral process.

Senator Uba also said he was not going to court because the APC got victory there in Imo State.

According to Uba, Anambra is the first state in the South East where candidates got justice in court after flawed elections.

Reacting to a Facebook post by a concerned Anambra indigene, Uba said the courts removed him as Anambra Governor 17 days after he took office in favour of Mr. Peter Obi and that he “didn’t die”. He also reminded the Facebook user that the court removed Dr. Chris Ngige for Mr. Peter Obi earlier.

“Onye Akpalu Ochaa N’ Uzo. Go To Any Court You Wish To Go We Are Always Prepare. What Is Encouraging You Is Because Of What Happened In Imo State And You Think Anambra State Is Imo State.” -Prince Mbamalu Anthony Iyke

“Prince Mbamalu Anthony Iyke Not at all. It is about what we know after our preliminary examination. Be also informed that in 2006, Peter Obi came through Supreme Court to remove Ngige as a governor in Anambra State. Be told that in 2007, 17days after I was sworn in as the governor of Anambra State, Obi came through Supreme Court to remove me. I did not die, I moved on. So before Imo, Anambra State have been inviting Judicial intervention in her electoral processes” – Senator Emmanuel Andy Uba.
