KING ATEKE TOM HONOURS GOV. WIKE, DEDICATES NEW PALACE ON 4TH ANNIVERSARY

The paramount ruler of Okochiri land in Okrika LGA of Rivers State, King Ateke Tom on Saturday, bestowed a chieftaincy title on Rivers State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike.

Wike was honoured with the chieftaincy title of Se Taribo 1st of Okochiri Kingdom(meaning, a man who has love for his people).

The conferment of the title held at the abode of the Amayanabo who also dedicated his new Palace on the day.

The event which marked the fourth anniversary of the coronation of the Amayanabo had the who’s who in Rivers State in attendance including former Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, Chief Ndutimi Alaibe.

Gov. Wike, who was fully attired in the full regalia of his elevated traditional office praised the Amayanabo for sustaining peace in the area by being supportive of the government of Rivers State.
