The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, on Thursday, caused a big stir in the ranks of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Abia State, when National Secretary of the Party, Sen. Samuel Anyanwu, visited Senate Chief Whip, Sen. Orji Kalu at his Abuja residence.
Anyanwu caused the sir when he stated that the visit was part of efforts by the PDP to bring their members back and reposition the party.
According to Anyanwu, his delegation, “came to visit a friend, a leader in the South-East and one of our own and to acquaint him with the developments in our party and to let him know the reason why he should move over to our party. We had a good discussion and this is just the beginning,’’
Kalu is presently the biggest politician in the APC from the South East and the leader of the party in Abia State.
The former Abia State governor however has remained mum in the face of the several visits he has had with political leaders in the past few days.
