Copyright Society of Nigeria Ltd/Gte (COSON), has concluded arrangement to hold its 11th Annual General Meeting (AGM) slated for Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at 2.00 pm.
According to Barrister Simi Wash Pam, COSON General Counsel and Head of Legal, the AGM will receive, consider, approve and adopt the audited financial statements of the society for the year ended December 31, 2020, and the report of the Auditors thereon.
The AGM will also consider the position of the auditors and make changes where necessary and authorise the directors to determine the remuneration of the auditors. Furthermore, the AGM will elect or re-elect deserving members of the Board.
Already, the notice of the meeting and the 2020 Annual Report and Accounts booklet of the society has been sent to each of the thousands of members of COSON across Nigeria.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the meeting will be held online and log-in details have been provided in the notice of meeting.
COSON, Nigeria’s biggest copyright collective management organization, is proud that the upcoming AGM is the 11th in the eleven years of the existence of the society with the AGM holding each year without fail.
