All roads lead to the Cineplex of the National Film Corporation, Lagos Office, Ikoyi, Lagos from December 9 to 12, as the 2021 Lagos International Film Festival, LIFF, holds.
LIFF, founded in 2008 by notable Filmpreneur, Madu Chikwendu, is returning after Covid-19 scare of 2020.

This year, Zimbabwe born Filmmaker and actor Stephen Chigorimbo will preside over the jury of the 2021 LIFF.
According to the organisers, this year’s edition will feature film screenings, panel discussions and the formal launch of Matthew Simpa’s book on the history of film in Nigeria titled, “From Reversal Filmmaking To God’s Bedroom and Back: Untold Story of the Nollywood Revolution”.
The 2021 LIFF will partner Keystone Bank to empower Filmmakers. The bank will leverage a long standing arrangement with Facebook to provide an intensive training that will equip filmmakers with necessary skills to monetize their content on multiple social media platforms.
Already, the Economic Community of West African, States ECOWAS, has endorsed LIFF and committed to supporting the event.
The Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, will also be participating at the 2021 LIFF with a high level delegation who will take part in technical sessions to deconstruct the Creative Industries Financing Initiative, CIFI.
