The Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Sheikh Ajigbotomokekere on Sunday evening, led prayers as the remains of the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Adetunji, were laid to rest at his Popoyemoja palace.
The burial service held at Mapo Hall in Ibadan, Oyo State as Nigerians from all walks of life, especially Ibadan indigenes thronged the venue to pay their last respects.
93-year-old Oba Saliu Adetunji, died at the University College Hospital, UCH, Ibadan, Oyo State today.
The 41st Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Adetunji wascrowned on March 4, 2016.
