Former Minister of Education, Dr (Mrs) Obiageli Ezekwesili, has been appointed Head of the Governorship Transition Committee of Anambra State Governor-elect, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo.
An official release to this effect from the Media Office of Prof. Charles Soludo signed by Mr Joe Anatune, Head of Soludo Media Office, said the Transition Committee which will liaise with a team set up by the government of Anambra State to ensure a seamless transition from the Governor Willie Obiano’s administration to a Chukwuma Charles Soludo-led administration as from 17th March, 2022.
Anatune stated that the full Terms of Reference for the Committee as well as its mode of operation will be communicated during the inauguration/first plenary sessions scheduled for 19- 22nd January, 2022 at the Golden Tulip (Agulu Lake) Hotel, Anambra State.
Members of the 80-member Transition Committee, include Nze Akachukwi Nwankpo, Prof. Pat Utomi, Prof. Benedict Okey Oramah, Prof. Chidi Odinkalu, Chief Osita Chidoka and Dr. Alex Otti.
Others are, Prof. (Mrs) Uche Amazigo, Barrister Pat. Ikwueto, SAN, Dr. Olisa Agbakoba, SAN, Barrister Echezona Etiaba, SAN , Prof. Offornze Amucheazi, SAN, Mr. Ikechukwu Nweje and Mr. Franklin Edochie among others.
